Like all Blitz products, the screw cap does not tighten much before jumping networks. So probably not seal well at all. However, unlike other products Blitz, the cap this track is high, I know that would be quite complete in danger of a spill. The broad-based, it is unlikely that this thing is over.

He is old enough and large enough, so I'm happy that gives me a place to collect the oil prior to transport.

What does this mean? It is a container to put the waste oil. In a large opening to the oil input / output and a carrying handle. enough space for me to do 2 oil changes on my Chevy truck because it takes 6 quarts, and this thing can handle 12 pints. I do not see any negatives to it. E 'should do.

This is exactly what I wanted (a very wide-mouth jar can contain more than one oil change), and surprisingly, I've never seen another like product.

I always stayed away from the use of the bulky oil pan / container combo, why would they see a mess, and are generally of very poor quality. Using one of these with a conventional oil pan sticks is perfect, and creates very little damage. The mouth of the jug is still large enough that you do not needfunnel when transferring oil from the frying pan into the bowl (unless you're a bit 'of attention). If you used old milk bottles or anything like that, you know how much of a mess that can create a cause of falls, overfilling drippy jugs and funnels go. Mouth large, and 12 pints of eliminating all these problems.

I got this in an auto parts store for about half the current price set out on Amazon, and even then I felt that I was paying (but, as Isaid, I've never seen anything like that, so I had no choice but to pay what they asked). As commentators have noted, the plastic is very thin, and the CAP is not going over very well. I filled it with water when I got home to try it (better to have clean water make a mess of oil) and found that there was no leakage around the edge of thin plastic, but when I flipped, as expected, the area around the cap leaked massively.

As I said, these pitchers are very practical, but because of poor quality and that will obviously get outaround all do what you intend to do, I do not expect it to last more than a year or two. Well ..

I have a '06 Dodge Ram diesel contains 12 gallons of oil. I installed a quick escape on my truck and find the opening of the container must be big enough for the right discharge of oil into the container, then right for the recycling of oil where I go. I empty the filter in a basin that can be poured into the container.
The container is sturdy enough for the oil change and I recommend it to others.
